Effective immediately, the Cariboo Regional District has closed the Watch Lake landfill to the public until further notice due to the proximity of a wildfire. To ensure public safety, please stay out of fire affected areas and obey all warning and hazard signs.
Residents are encouraged to register for the Cariboo Chilcotin Emergency Notification System to receive a text, call or email regarding evacuation alerts and orders: cariboord.ca/crdemergsignup
