Earlier today, Victoria announced community grants for public safety. Here in the Cariboo-Chilcotin, five groups got funding:
100 Mile House total: $25,000
South Cariboo Search and Rescue Society, $25,000
Horsefly total: $50,000
Horsefly Volunteer Fire Department, $50,000
Lac La Hache total: $13,000
Greeny Lake Volunteer Fire Department, $13,000
Lone Butte total: $30,000
Interlakes Volunteer Fire Department, $30,000
Wells total: $18,600
Wells Snowmobile Club, $18,600
