Additional Local Gov't Infrastructure Dollars via Federal Gas Tax Fund

Earlier this year -- in the 2019 Federal Government Budget, Ottawa decided to advance a one-time additional local government infrastructure dollars, via the Gas Tax Program, directly to local governments across Canada. The "Bonus Payment" (as it is called) is currently scheduled to be paid sometime in July 2019.  For a more fuller explanation - click here

In the Cariboo-Chilcotin region, this means additional "Community Works Funds" in 2019 as follows:

* Wells - $65,591.00
* Quesnel - $497,293.00
* Williams Lake - $533,476.00
* 100 Mile House - $138,460.00
* Cariboo Regional District (Electoral Areas only) - $1,797,020.00
