From the Rush:
There are now eight candidates for six WL City Councillor positions in Williams Lake.
The latest entrant into the race is Mike Jacobson. Jacobson currently works in the sales department at Pioneer Log Homes.
Jacobson says his top priorities if elected would be to help grow Williams Lake for the better and to give young families the chance to work here and stay in the community.
He also says he has a pretty extensive business background and has a good history of making solid financial decisions.
Jacobson’s connections to the community run deep – his Grandfather helped launch Jacobson Brothers Forest Products. The other candidates for council are Steve Forseth, Ivan Bonnell, Richard Vollo and incumbents Geoff Bourdon, Laurie Walters, Sue Zacharias and Surinderpal Rathor

Given his poor history of interacting with city staff and his flaunting of both municipal bylaws and other policies, i would be concerned with him being a representative for the city.
Wow does anyone else think the last comment was written by a Senior Manager for the City of Williams Lake? Maybe not but very interesting language and incite to "inside" workings.
How would the common man know that this candidate supposedly "flaunted Municipal bylaws and other policies" as well as why would the common man or taxpayer make reference to city staff and not reference the public as a whole?
Like I said I may be wrong but seriously it does kind of make sense lol.
Almost every blog post on here is brought down by accusations from someone "anonymous". If you want to accuse someone or criticize the blog writer, at least have the guts to post your name.
8:34....arent you anonymous as well in your comments...?
