A friendly reminder that if you are out camping this weekend anywhere in the Cariboo Fire Center Region which encompeses the Cariboo-Chilcotin, there is a prohibition on campfires. So, please don't be tempted to start one as the forests are just as dry as they were in 2003 or worse. You are still permitted to use your portable cookstoves to cook your food while camping. Otherwise, it looks like excellent weather to go to the lake or even take in camping activites anywhere in the Province
