Editor's Note - please be advised, contrary to a report from Alan Madrigga on raised concerns from the local Conservation Society over changes to the Fisheries Act - Bill C-38 is not being studied by a House of Commons Committee but in fact is law as it received Royal Assent on Friday, June 29th after a 49-31 vote by the Canadian Senate to give 3rd and Final Reading to Bill C-38
