Business:
1) Council received for information the accounts payable computer cheque and EFT listings dated May 23, 30, 31 and June 6, 2024
2) Council approved the 2023 Statement of Financial Information (SOFI) report and disclosure schedules for submission to the Province
3) Council agreed to support the Social Planning Council/Central Cariboo Food Hub’s application to NDIT Marketing Initiative program for funding toward their Online Presence marketing and awareness campaign
4) Council approved the draft Indigenous Relations Working Group Terms of Reference, and thereafter appoint Councillors Flaspohler, Moses and Nelson as the Council representatives on the Working Group
5) Council endorsed a Committee of the Whole recommendation, as follows:
That pursuant to Committee of Whole Council Report #16-2024 and the report of the Manager of Public Works dated April 17, 2024, the City of Williams Lake enter into the proposed Landfill Use Agreement with the Cariboo Regional District; and further, that the Mayor and Corporate Officer be authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the City.
6) Council received for information letter from the BC RCMP Deputy Commissioner/Commanding Officer regarding the municipal contract policing multi-year financial plan for 2025/26
7) Late Item -- Council received for information a report of the Director of Human
Resources dated June 10, 2024 regarding ratification of the City of Williams Lake and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 882-B Collective Agreement, for a four year term effective July
1, 2024 through June 30, 2028
8) Council received the Council Information Package as of June 11th, 2024

Closed/In-Camera Council Meeting:
Council resolves to proceed into a Closed/In-Camera Council Meeting, following adjournment of the Open Council Meeting - according to Section 92 of the Community Charter for discussion of items identified under Section 90:
(1) (j) information that is prohibited, or information that if it were presented in a document would be prohibited, from disclosure, under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and
(1) (k) negotiations and related discussions respecting the proposed provision of a municipal service that are at their preliminary stages and that, in the view of the council, could reasonably be expected to harm the interest of the municipality if they were held in public.
