Delegations:

2) Steve Forseth: Cariboo Regional District Electoral Area 'D' Director re: Pine Valley Sewer System Verbal Update (increase to user fee in 2026 and impact on City of Williams Lake Airport budget)

Business:
The Committee discussed the following:
1) Permissive Tax Exemption - Late Request from Central Cariboo Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses
2)New Recognition Program Policy No. 235
Following discussions -- the Committee made the following recommendations to Williams Lake City Council:
1) Council maintain its direction to not consider late permissive tax applications (Late Request from Central Cariboo Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses)
CONTRARY TO THE MOTION: Councillors M. Moses and S. Nelson
2) Council approve the new City of Williams Lake Recognition Program Policy No. 235 and that Council Policies No. 32 and 215 be repealed and finally, Policy No. 235 be brought back to Committee of Whole Council for review in February 2027, following its first year of implementation
And then the Committee adjourned at 6:45pm
