Johnston and Moffat Bridge Cleaning
The Johnston Bridge will be reduced to single lane traffic for cleaning beginning: Tuesday, June 9 through Friday, June 12, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day.
Due to the high water on the Johnston Loop all southbound traffic (into Johnston Sub/Plywood Road) will be detoured to North Star Road to access the Johnston sub/Plywood Road area. All northbound traffic (from Johnston Sub into town) will have access over the bridge and train tracks. Traffic control persons and signage will be in place. Please expect delays. We thank you for your patience during this process.
The Moffat Bridge will be reduced to single lane traffic for cleaning beginning: Tuesday, June 9 through Wednesday, June 10 4 a.m. until 8 a.m. each day.
Please allow extra travel time when using both routes during the above stated times as there will be traffic delays. Traffic control personnel will be in place. Inquiries can be directed to Public Works at 250-992-6330.
Paving Projects
Public Works will be paving on North Fraser Drive June 9 and 10. Minor delays and traffic re-routing can be expected.

BC Hydro Project
On Monday, June 15, BC Hydro will be performing work to Hydro lines in the upper Abbott Dr. area. Power to the City’s booster station and reservoir will be affected causing residents to have little to no water pressure during this outage. The outage will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. for up to 8 hours.
You may experience colored or dirty water when service is restored. Please run a cold tap until the water clears.
