Local Government Meetings - Week of October 3-7, 2022

Only Williams Lake City Council as well as the Boards' of the Cariboo Chilcotin Regional District/Cariboo Regional District are meeting next week.  All other Local Governments or Boards' of Education are off next week.  

Williams Lake:

Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, October 4th at 6pm in WL Council Chambers.  Meeting to be livestreamed via YouTube - click here.  This will be the last meeting of Williams Lake City Council prior to the October 15th, 2022 City of Williams Lake Local General Election to elect 1 Mayor/6 Councillors for a 4 yr term, commencing November 1st, 2022.  On the Agenda:

* Development Permit Application - DP #02-2022 - Broadway Landco Management Inc. - New Drive-Through Restaurant with Shared Loading Zone - 1704 Broadway Avenue South - Approval

* Zoning Amendment Application - Bylaw No. 2375 - RJ & Crystal Brereton - Adds 'Office' Use to CS-1 Zone - 318 Broadway Avenue North (Editor's Note -- if approved by Council, this item will be the 1st Public Hearing to be conducted by the new 2022-2026 Williams Lake City Council)

* Committee of the Whole recommendations for endorsement concerning RCMP Ambulance Concerns and Dog Creek Road - Potential Road Works to be cost shared by City of Williams Lake and BC Ministry of Transportation

CCRHD Board to meet on Thursday, October 6th at 9:30am in the Cariboo RD Williams Lake Boardroom (180D North 3rd Avenue).  This meeting will be audio-livestreamed and will be the final meeting of the 2018-2022 CCRHD Board.  On the Agenda:

* Capital Expenditure Bylaw for 3 Readings/Adoption (Northern Health/Quesnel Substance Abuse Facility)

Cariboo RD Board to meet on on Thursday, October 6th at 9:45am or upon adjournment of the CCRHD Board meeting, whichever occurs first, in the Cariboo RD Williams Lake Boardroom (180D North 3rd Avenue).  This meeting will be audio-livestreamed and will be the final meeting of the 2018-2022 Cariboo Regional District Board of Directors'.  On the Agenda:

* Land Use Items (Board Voting restricted to Area Directors' only)

* Request for concurrence -- Telus Cell Towers at Anahim Lake/Tatla Lake
