Mayor Rathor recognized that the meeting was taking place on the traditional unceded territory of Williams Lake First Nation within Secwepemculecw
Resolved: That the policy restricting minimum number of Members of Council to attend remotely at 2 be waived for all meetings this evening (Special Council, Committee of the Whole and Special Closed Council)

1) Sole Sourcing Well No. 6 Installation Project
Report of the Manager of Public Works presented to Council
Discussion ensued thereon...
Resolved: That pursuant to the report of the Manager of Public Works dated June 28, 2024, Council waive purchasing policy and direct award the Well 6 construction project, including all civil and underground works to Precision Service and Pumps proposal for an amount not to exceed $808,441.10 (excluding GST), and further that the Mayor and Corporate Officer be authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the City
2) Item from Mayor Rathor: Cariboo Memorial Hospital Recent Emergency Room Closures
Mayor Rathor/CCRHD Board Chair Richmond addressed Council and responded to questions from Council
Resolved: That Interior Health be requested to conduct an Operational Review at Cariboo Memorial Hospital
