McLeese Lake Meals with Hearts Society

From Cariboo RD Area "D" Director S. Forseth:

I am working with the newly established "McLeese Lake Meals with Heart Society" (website: https://mcleeselakemealswithheartsociety.com/ to provide freshly cooked frozen meals for seniors' in the McLeese Lake area as there is not a provider for meals for rural seniors residing north of Wildwood without transportation options into Williams Lake

I am hoping to, subject to Cariboo RD Board approval, provide the Society with a $1,000 start up grant, to get this program off the ground and is similar to financial support provided by Cariboo RD Area "F" Director Maureen LeBourdais for a similar program in Horsefly ...

My personal thanks to the Society for responding to a community need for our seniors at McLeese Lake and area....

1st 2022 meeting of McLeese Lake Recreation Commission

McLeese Lake Recreation Commission

Last night -- the McLeese Lake Recreation Commission held its' 1st meeting of 2022.  They went through a number of matters including upcoming events during Family Day later in February and a community event in May as well as receiving verbal reports from the McLeese Lake Fire Department and the local Cariboo Regional District Area Director

Meetings of the McLeese Lake Recreation Commission are ones that I look forward to, as it allows me to engage with locals and to do "check-ins" with McLeese Lake and area residents' and they are fun to be around...
