Many locally elected officials from across the North Central Local Gov't Association (NCLGA) region stretching from 100 Mile House to the BC/Yukon border will be travelling to Prince George today for a 2 day Elected Officials Seminar.  On the Agenda will include training opportunities for both newly or returning elected.  Such training items include:

* Community Planning
* Running a Meeting
* Teamwork
* Local Gov't and First Nations
* Municipal Councils' and Regional District Boards

I am travelling later today to this conference and I'm looking forward to the training sessions, networking with other returning or newly elected officials and hearing from former BC Cabinet Minister George Abbott whose political career spans 34 years and include stints in both local and provincial politics

To my colleagues traveling today - drive safe and see you in PG tonight!
