Public Open House on Williams Lake Water Management Strategy

TAKE NOTICE that the City of Williams Lake on Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, is holding an Open House/ Information Session in the Gibraltar Room at Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex located at 525 Proctor Street to present findings and recommendations of the Williams Lake Water Management Strategy.

Focusing on sustainable operations, the strategy addresses future water demands, supply options and costs, water quality expectations, and financial implications. A phased approach to investments will enable the City to meet its obligations and maximize potential for senior government infrastructure funding.

Members of the public are invited to attend the open house to review the findings and recommendations of the Water Management Strategy. Representatives from City Public Works and Development Services, from Interior Health Authority, and from the consulting engineers, Urban Systems Ltd will be available to provide information, receive comments, and respond to inquiries from public.

Brief presentations are scheduled from 6:30 to 7:00 pm.
