Minutes of the Committee of the Whole meeting held Oct 27th, 2020 was received/adopted
Delegations:
1) Mary Forbes and Oliver Berger from the Cariboo Chilcotin Conservation Society (Waste Wise) appeared before the Committee to discuss City of WL Conservation Measures
2) Judy Ventry from the Ministry of Social Development & Poverty Reduction appeared before the Committee to discuss Homelessness Solutions for Williams Lake
3) Steve Forseth, Cariboo Regional District (CRD) Area 'D' Director appeared before the Committee to provide an update on the CRD's Pine Valley Sewer System
Following the presentations -- a Question/Answer period ensued
The Chair thanked the delegations for their time/information
Business Arising from Delegations:
The Committee agreed to receive the presentations for information and further agreed to provide a letter of support for future expansion of system capacity for the Pine Valley Sewer System to support housing and other development opportunities at the Williams Lake Regional Airport lands...
Committee Business:
1) The Committee held a general discussion on the following two items:
a) Community Events Longevity of Community Events & Volunteerism
b) Snow Clearing - Communication Update
The Committee agreed to adjourn at 6:55pm
