The Chair recognized that the meeting was taking place on the traditional unceded territory of Williams Lake First Nation within Secwepemculecw and welcomed Alternate Director Funk (District of Wells) to today's meeting

Minutes of the previous CCRHD Board Meeting were received/adopted
The Board received the "Delegations Memorandum of Business, as of June 2nd, 2023"
Business:
1) The Board received the "Consent Calendar" as of June 2nd, 2023
2) The Board authorized the appropriate signatories of the CCRHD to sign the Memorandum of Understanding at the Northern Health/Regional Hospital District Fall Joint Meeting scheduled for October 16, 2023
3) The Board received a letter from the City of Williams Lake, dated May 17, 2023 regarding Establishment of an Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) Walk-In Clinic in Williams Lake
Resolved -- That a response be sent to the City of Williams Lake acknowledging the Board's support for UPCC's, and a letter be sent to IH to advise that the CCRHD is supportive of UPCC’s and would be willing to partially fund the capital costs of such a centre in Williams Lake. Further, that a joint City of WL-CCRHD meeting be requested with the Minister of Health at UBCM to have a further conversation in this regard.
