Courtesy of the City of Quesnel:

In response to the College of New Caledonia’s decision to institute pay parking at the North Cariboo Community Campus, Council passed a resolution to provide free fares to College and University students of the North Cariboo Quesnel Community Campus from September 8 to December 31, 2015.

Students need only to show the transit driver their current semester student ID card to ride transit for free. To view the current transit schedule please visit: http://bctransit.com/quesnel/home.

An open invitation has been posted to all Quesnel residents and North Cariboo Community Campus students to attend a special open Council meeting on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 5 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the pay parking initiative implemented at the North Cariboo Community Campus. Quesnel City Council, College of New Caledonia President Henry Reiser, and Board Chair Vince Prince will be in attendance.
