The City of Williams Lake (City) will be undertaking maintenance work at the Kiwanis-Rotary Park playground beginning on Monday, September 28, 2026 to replace the existing rubber safety surface.
To ensure the work can be completed safely and efficiently, the playground area will be temporarily closed for approximately two weeks while construction is underway. Residents are asked to respect all barricades, fencing and signage and to keep clear of the work zone throughout the project.
Please use caution when travelling through the area as construction crews, equipment and materials will be present.
The new rubber surface will help maintain a safe, accessible and enjoyable play space for local families and visitors.
The City thanks residents and visitors for their patience and cooperation as we complete these important improvements to the playground.
