ANOTHER BOMBSHELL FROM QUESNEL CITY HALL !
A FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST HAS REVEALED THAT CITY MANAGER JOHN STECYK RECEIVED A FINAL REMUNERATION PAYMENT OF $170,469.13.
QUESNEL CITY COUNCIL RELEASED A STATEMENT LAST WEEK THAT STECYK RESIGNED FOR PERSONAL REASONS WHICH BEGS THE QUESTION AS TO WHY THERE IS SUCH A LARGE REMUNERATION PAYMENT.
STECYK WAS JUST HIRED BY THE CITY IN JANUARY OF 2011.

It's called a contract. Council wants to break it without cause and they must pay to do so. Council is the only one to blame here.
The dishonesty with what is truely happening on councils is disgusting. The taxpayer has the right to know!
