Vote in civic elxns at your local shopping mall??

Monday - the Kamloops Daily News ran a story about Kamloops Council looking into the possibility of allowing voters to vote in future elections at your local shopping malls and universities... read that story here

Given dismal turn-out numbers for civic elections and the success of the 'Imagine Our Future' process for the City of Williams Lake's new OCP - I wonder if Williams Lake too should look at this, at least it gives more options for voters' to participate in our local democracy
