Yesterday - a November 2011 4 page letter from Taseko Mines to Federal Environment Minister Peter Kent was made public where Taseko asks Minister Kent to severely limit First Nation input/influence at the upcoming Federal Review Panel hearings on 'New Prosperity'. As I stated yesterday -- I think the letter was 'highly inflammatory' to local First Nations and was not the right move by Taseko Mines to get federal approval of 'New Prosperity'
Since the public release of the letter yesterday - Taseko Mines has said this morning:
"No comment as the letter speaks for itself"
