From the City of Williams Lake:

The City of Williams Lake today took 9 additional samples for the 2nd water zone affecting west side residents. The results of tests on the samples will be known by noon on Monday, Nov. 11. All tests taken since Friday have been negative for E.Coli bacteria.

The boil water advisory for the west side (the Williams Lake golf course, and the area to the west, including Westridge, Hodgson Road, the golf course area, and Terra Ridge) remains in effect. Residents are advised to boil their water for at least 2 minutes before consumption.

The City will provide an update via local media and the City’s Facebook page and Twitter page as soon as the latest test results are known.

Inquiries can be made to General Manager of Planning and Operations Geoff Goodall at 250-267-3070 or Manager of Water and Waste Joe Engelberts at 250-392-0867.
