City of PG/CUPE Unions come to terms

Yesterday, the City of Prince George, after a year of protracted bargaining, was able to reach a tentative labour agreement with its' unionized employees (CUPE Locals 1048 & 399).  No details were announced pending ratification votes by PG City Council and the CUPE Locals.  This is typical procedure until both sides agree and then the details will come out after

Unlike Williams Lake municipal city workers who reached agreement with the City here almost a year ago - Prince George unionized workers could use this to their advantage as we go into local government elections in just a short 10 months from now.  Will they.... it is certainly possible as PG Mayor Shari Green, at times, wore the negative aspects of collective bargaining, even though she didn't play a direct role in bargaining...
