Kamloops Daily News to close

As a result of more and more people getting their information "online" & reading newspaper online and less through traditional means like newspapers -- the Kamloops Daily News announced today that Kamloops only daily newspaper will close in 60 days.  Black Press's Kamloops This Week will still put out a twice-weekly newspaper.  Read more on the Daily News closure here

I will profess that I wasn't expecting this news from the Daily News for  some time.... and my heart goes out to those who have now lost their jobs at the Daily News...

I will profoundly miss the content that the Daily News was so skillfully able to put out on a daily basis for news around the Kamloops region...
