$18,500 in legal fees paid by the City of William's Lake? Really? Makes you wonder why we paid the current CAO over $185,000 to "lead" the city last year, yet lawyers are still on the payroll. In 2018 the city advertised for 60 new employees. That's about HALF of the number of employees in the entire organization! How can that be when we are paying TOP wages and benefits to senior managers yet there's still a morale problem at city hall? Inept management? Empire building? self-serving politicians? We have it all. Our tax dollars at work. You can't make this stuff up.

Yesterday on civic info b.c (January 14) the city of Williams Lake posted its 6th job vacancy of 2019! Something is seriously wrong at City Hall.
