Regarding John Pickford's letters to the City of Williams Lake about Council choosing to no longer record their voting record at the behest of Councillor Craig Smith, how could one not wholeheartedly agree with Mr. Pickford? They have just closed another window to public's scrutiny of their actions, instead of standing up for open and transparent government. What he didn't touch on was how this gives them the ability to conceal any conflict of interest which this council is no stranger to.
