 10 years of service

North Cariboo Recreation and Parks 

Council approved up to $50,000 of the 2021 COVID-19 Safe Restart Funds, which weren't spent in 2021, to be allocated to offset lost revenue in the North Cariboo Recreation and Parks budget, for 2022.

 

Quesnel Visitor Centre 

Council approved the Visitor Centre Management Agreement with the Quesnel and District Chamber of Commerce, to run through 2026.

Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure Lease 

Council approved a five-year lease agreement with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure for the use of approximately 3,220 square feet of office space at 410 Kinchant Street.

 

Northern Development Initiative Trust Grant Applications

Council approved the following applications:

Central Mountain Air

Central Mountain Air has resumed air travel to and from Quesnel and, flights have increased for the month of December.  While this is a positive step forward, CMA has forecast struggles into 2022.  As such, Council approved extending waiving passenger and lease fees until March 31, 2022, to ensure that essential travel services are available to our community.

  • City of Quesnel Appointment of Officers and Delegation of Authority Bylaw No. 1914 of 2021 - Final Adoption
  • City of Quesnel Housing Agreement Authorization Bylaw No. 1915 of 2021 - Final Adoption
