Last night - the Wells Chamber of Commerce held an "All Candidates" Forum for the February 5th, 2022 District of Wells Mayoral and Councillor By-Election, via Zoom, from 6:30pm - 9:30pm.
1 Seat for Mayor of Wells and 3 seats for Municipal Councillor - District of Wells - are to be filled in this by-election.
After Opening Remarks from the Candidates - there were two rounds of questioning.
Round 1 - Questions submitted ahead. Those included:
* Wells Official Community Plan
* Position on proposed Osisko Gold Mine
* Position on renovations to/or build new Wells School
Round 2 - Questions submitted from the public via the moderator. Questions included:
* Role of District of Wells Mayor/Councillor
* Conflict of Interest
And then there was an opportunity to provide Closing Remarks
