Earlier today, Friday August 21, a small aircraft was involved in a landing incident at the Quesnel Regional Airport.
There were no injuries reported. Emergency responders attended the scene, and the aircraft remains on the runway area while appropriate recovery and assessment activities are underway.
The runway has been temporarily closed, and Transport Canada has been notified. The City will continue to work with regulatory authorities and the aircraft operator to safely reopen the airport as soon as possible.
