The dates for the annual Cariboo Regional District Town Hall meetings have been finalized. The public is encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to provide input to the Regional District’s proposed 2012 Budget and Five-Year Financial Plan. The schedule is outlined below.
The meetings are designed to explain the CRD’s budgets for the services that it provides to Regional District residents. The sessions also provide an opportunity to talk about community services and general issues with the returning or newly elected CRD Directors and staff
Wed Jan 11th - 108 Community Hall at 7:00 pm (Area 'G' - Director Richmond)
Sat Jan 14th - Dragon Lk Elementary at 1:00 pm (Area 'A' - Director Armstrong)
Mon Jan 16th - Horsefly Community Hall at 6:30 pm (Area 'F' - Director Sorley)
Wed Jan 18th - WL Sportsmen Club at 7:00 pm (Area 'E' - Director Kemp)
Thurs Jan 19th - Parkland Elementary at 7:00pm (Area 'B' - Director Dixon-Warren)
Sat Jan 21st - Forest Grove Community Hall at 1:00pm (Area 'H' - Director Wagner)
Mon Jan 23rd - West Fraser Fire Hall at 7:00pm (Area 'I' - Director Glassford)
Wed Jan 25th - WL Council Chambers at 7:00pm (City of WL - Director Cook)
Thurs Jan 26th - 100 Mile Council Chambers at 7:00pm (100 Mile House - Director Campsall)
Thursday Jan 26th - Wells Council Chambers at 7:00pm (Wells - Director Sharpe. Note - Area 'C' Director John Massier in attendance)
Sat Jan 28th - Tatla Lk Community Hall at 1:00pm (Areas 'J' and 'K' - Directors William and Mernett)
Mon Jan 30th - Barlow Crk Fire Hall at 7:00pm (Area 'C' - Director Massier)
Tues Jan 31st - Wildwood Elementary at 7:00pm (Area 'D' - Director Bischoff)
Wed Feb 1st - Quesnel Council Chambers at 7:00pm (City of Quesnel - Director Sjostrom)
Mon, Feb 6th - Watch Lk Community Hall at 7:00pm (Area 'L' - Director Rattray)
Following each meeting, presentations for the specific electoral areas or municipalities will be posted on the CRD website along with the preliminary budget booklet and the Town Hall meeting survey. If you cannot attend your local session, please feel free to view the information online, fill out a survey and email it to the CRD at cnorman@cariboord.bc.ca, or return it to your local CRD office.
