Check your facts. Start with their coverage of the so called issues. For example in Fort Langley's section and specifically the Coulter Berry debacle, they list the first court decision that was made in favour of opponents to council who sued for illegal process and the outcome of which was , in the words of the officiating judge, "an error of process that brought council into conflict with the Local Government Act in that he determined that it improperly varied the density. He clearly stated that he found no conflict with the Official Community Plan or the building facade guidelines, Btw they are the only guidelines with respect to heritage and are limited to the exterior embellishments on windows, siding, colour etc. Justice Groves also took the trouble to point to and prescribe the mechanism to use to accomplish assured approval of the building, not exactly the actions of an individual or judge that would indicate personal disapproval of the building or it's proponents. Further, this decisions was overturned subsequently by two senior chief justices. The unelection campaign is the resulting organization of a group of people who in my opinion, are apparently not content with due democratic process used to achieve approval, twice, for a project that a majority of residents supported clearly and decisively, 212/140, at public hearings.
You will find none of this information on the unelection campaigns website under the issues section for Coulter Berry. In fact as of August 28, 2014, there is only a reference to the first and overturned mistake made by Justice Grove. I have only one question. Where is the complete information on their site with which to make the UNBIASED assessment of candidates? Moreover, the founders include the losers of the Coulter Berry debacle and in my opinion, have serious issues with the optics, which speak to clandestine manipulation of information in an effort to confuse And frustrate the efforts of conscientious voters trying to find truthful and accurate information with which to make a decision. Voters need truth not "truthiness" and pseudo logic to inform their decisions. I suspect a conversation with the other communities would confirm the same problem with factual information
