The City of Williams Lake’s Emergency Operations Centre has set up a dedicated phone line for local COVID-19 related enquiries. This line will assist with operational and non-medical related questions and will provide direction toward available resources.
The number is 250-392-2364.
The public may also call 1-888-COVID-19 (1-888-268-4319) from 7:30 am – 8 pm for any non-emergency questions or concerns regarding COVID-19. The 1-888-COVID19 line is designed to provide non-medical information or help people decide if they should seek testing. It also accepts text messages through 604-630-0300.
The BC Government has also recently released a COVID-19 Support and Self-assessment app that can be accessed through the Google Play Store or App Store by searching BC COVID-19 Support.

“The City is looking to support our community by providing all residents with an easy solution to find accurate information and resources through our dedicated information line: 250-392-2364,” said Erick Peterson, Emergency Operations Centre Chief. “This phone line will be operated from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and will provide information about City operations and direct questions that need further information to the appropriate organizations.”
