1) In response to the Province's plan to restart BC safely, the City of Quesnel has now opened the skate park, tennis and pickleball courts, as well as the bike park.
Users must follow the below guidelines while using these amenities in order to limit the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus):
- Users from separate households MUST maintain 2 metres of physical distance from others at all times
- Stay home if feeling sick or unwell
- Do not share equipment
- Wash your hands and equipment often
The City is waiting for further guidance from the Province of BC in regards to other arts and recreation facilities and playgrounds.

2) Beginning Tuesday, May 19, the Quesnel Landfill and Recycling Centre hours of operation will revert back to their regular scheduled time, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Quesnel Landfill and Recycling Centre will continue to operate Tuesday through Sunday and close on statutory holidays.
