Annual Sanitary Main Cleaning - City of Williams Lake

The City of Williams Lake is currently conducting its annual sanitary main cleaning and camera work, which will take place over the next three weeks.

Areas include:

• 9th, 10th, and 11th Avenues
• Huston Street to Cameron Street
• 1st Avenue through 5th Avenue
• Comer Street to Proctor Street

Residents are advised that pressure caused from cleaning the sanitary mains may cause basement toilets to bubble and/or mist water for a short period of time as the cleaning tool moves down the main. Closing the toilet lid will eliminate or lessen any backflow.
