Public Notice is given, pursuant to Section 97 of the Local Government Act, to the electors of the District of Wells that:
I, Donna Forseille, Chief Election Officer for the District of Wells, do hereby declare, pursuant to Section 97 of the Local
Government Act, the following persons as Candidates in the 2022 District of Wells General Election for the office of
Councillor (4):
1) FOURCHALK SOPHIE
2) FUNK DOROTHEA
3) LEWIS JENNIFER
4) MCDONAGH SHANNON
5) TROTTER-WANNER JOSH
6) VAN STRALEN DIRK
MAYOR CANDIDATE: Ed Coleman (unopposed)
Challenges to a candidate nomination must be received by 4:00 PM, September 9, 2022.

Following a challenge/withdrawal period commencing Monday, September 12th -- the Chief Election Officer of the District of Wells on Monday, September 19th at 4pm will declare Ed Coleman, elected by acclamation as he was unopposed and that an election by voting is required to elect 4 Councillors to serve a 4 year term commencing November 2022
