Susan (Sue) Zacharias passed away surrounding by family on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023

In 2005, she was elected to local government for a 3 year term as the Cariboo Regional District Electoral Area "D" Director and was supportive, as I am, of both first responders like the Wildwood Volunteer Fire Department and supporting local tourism initiatives...
Then in 2008 until 2018 -- she served 3 consecutive terms as a Williams Lake City Councillor. Upon her retirement in fall 2018, she reminded future Williams Lake City Councils' to continue to work on building relationships with First Nations; remember those who are not as fortunate as ourselves and work towards building a family-friendly and inclusive community...
On behalf of the constituents of Cariboo Regional District Electoral Area "D" -- I thank her for her community service during her 3 year term from 2005-2008 as Area "D" Director of the Cariboo Regional District... she will be missed...
A Memorial Service has been scheduled for Saturday, September 30th in Williams Lake...
