From the City of Williams Lake:
Milling and paving of 2nd Avenue (Oliver Street to Mackenzie Avenue) and 3rd Avenue (Barnard Street to Mackenzie Avenue) has been completed. Milling of Oliver Street (8th Avenue to Mackenzie Avenue) has also been completed, with paving expected to begin tonight or tomorrow night, weather permitting.
Milling is now expected to begin on 11th Avenue North, from Smedley Street to Highway 97, and Toop Road, from Centennial Drive to Highway 97.
Flagging crews will assist in directing traffic, and motorist cooperation is appreciated. In addition, no street parking will be allowed on these stretches of street when no parking signs are displayed.
