Cariboo RD set to become 1st local gov't to have "Code of Conduct & Ethics"

Next Friday - the Cariboo Regional District Board will be meeting.  1 item of note is that the CRD CAO Janis Bell has recommended that the Board adopt a "Code of Conduct and Ethics" for Directors.  See Ms. Bell's memo to the Board here

As far as I can tell (did Google research on this) - if the Board adopts a "Code of Conduct/Ethics", it'll be the first local government in BC to do so.

I congratulate the Cariboo Regional District for taking this brave measure and I would strongly encourage all 16 CRD Board Directors to accept the recommendation of their CAO and adopt the Code of  Conduct/Ethics immediately

You can bet the City of Williams Lake would not have one ..if so how would Kerry Cook or Brian Carruthers pass the Code.
