And the hits keep on comin'...

A number of continuing letters to the editor (Quesnel Cariboo Observer) keep pummelling Quesnel City Council.

First one from former Quesnel Human Resources Advisor Muriel Wild who says Quesnel Mayor/Council sold out Quesnel taxpayers' by way of the new arrangement with new Quesnel City Manager Byron Johnson.  Read her letter here and then read Mr. Johnson's contract for yourself here and then decide if you think Quesnel Council sold the taxpayers' of Quesnel out

Second one is from Quesnel resident Robert Wayne who asks why former Quesnel City Manager John Stecyk got such a high severance if he resigned from his position... read his letter here

I can't recall a time in either Wells, Quesnel, Williams Lake, 100 Mile, Cariboo Regional District or School Districts 27 or 28 where residents' really take exception to decisions made by a local government, and that goes back to the days of former Mayors Steve Wallace (Quesnel) and Ray Woods (Williams Lake).  I don't think it can get much worse for Quesnel Council.... and we still have a year and a half before campaigning starts for the next election in October 2014.

Will Muriel Wild run for Quesnel Council.... with her letters to the editor, I wonder if she is thinking about having her name on the ballot for Quesnel Council in 2014

The great thing about running for office in a democratic environment is that the candidate becomes fully visible.
