Last week, it was Cariboo RD Chair and Area 'G' Director Al Richmond lashing out against moving his Electoral Area 'G' and the South Cariboo from the federal riding of Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo to Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon.
Now you can add both current 100 Mile Mayor Mitch Campsall and provincial Cariboo-Chilcotin MLA Donna Barnett to those who are opposed to the changes. Mayor Campsall called the move "bad for democracy" while MLA Barnett says "I hope common sense prevails". Both Barnett and Campsall will address the Federal Electoral Boundary Commission at its' meeting in Kamloops on October 11th while Richmond will address the Commission at its' meeting in Prince George on September 17th
