2013 Quesnel Winter Carnival welcomes new Coordinator

Courtesy of the City of Quesnel:

The face behind the organization of the 2013 Quesnel Winter Carnival will be changing from one smile to another.
We welcome our new Winter Carnival Coordinator Susan MacNeill (left) pictured here with outgoing Coordinator Nancy Lillienweiss (right).
MacNeill brings years of expertise in event planning throughout the city, one of the most popular being the Canada Day Strawberry Tea. She is excited about this year’s carnival and promises a fun-filled, action-packed day on Saturday, February 2. MacNeill hopes to break the attendance record of 1,700 and invites all area residents to take part.

Leisure Services thanks Lillienweiss for her years as carnival coordinator and the many smiles she brought to the Park. We wish her every success in her new position at the College of New Caledonia.
This is how Quesnel celebrates winter; in true Canadian style with a Winter Carnival! Join us in the West Fraser Timber Park on Saturday, February 2.
