Ethics Watchdog for BC Muni's?

Yesterday, Tyler Sommers of Democracy Watch Canada was interviewed by CBC Daybreak North in regards to a Ethics Commissioner for BC Local Governments, in light of ethical misconduct in places like Toronto and Montreal.  Hear the interview here

For myself - I'm not sure that a Ethics Commissioner is warranted, at this stage, for BC Local Governments, as we don't see the level of ethical misconduct in BC Local Governments to the same level as we see in the bigger municipal governments like in Toronto and Montreal.  Sounds like a 'solution in chase of a problem' rather than in reverse

Editor's Note - edited for legal reasons

I completely disagree! If taxpayers don't think that there is funny business happening right here in Williams Lake, they are not paying attention. And it wouldn't take much digging to find it.

If it wouldn't take much digging to find it then why hasn't it been found???
It's easy to sit behind your keyboard and secretly drag good people through the mud while offering not a single shred of evidence to support your wild claims.
Do that with your real name and you'd be hauled into court for defemation and slander (probably the reason Steve edited your post I'm guessing as if he prints it he's on the hook too).
If there is evidence then bring it forward....I'd love to see it too.
