The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) will be holding a Public Meeting to discuss upcoming changes to the Forest Grove Transfer Station. The new system will allow an on-site attendant to compact refuse in open topped bins with a small backhoe. This will decrease the frequency of hauling required, which ultimately reduces decreases hauling costs.
This is your opportunity to provide feedback and suggestion about the new facility hours of operations and to ask questions about how the new system will work. During the meeting, CRD elected officials and staff will be on hand to discuss the scheduled changes and provide further details about the new Solid Waste Management program.
Information sheets and surveys will be available at the meeting or online at cariboord.bc.ca. Feedback is strongly encouraged and will be accepted until July 6.
