Evacuation Order Issued for 5 Properties in the Tatton Station Road Area

Earlier today the Cariboo Regional District activated a level 2 Emergency Operations Centre as a result of a wildfire burning in the Gustafson North Forest Service Road area, northwest of 100 Mile House.

An Evacuation Order has been issued for 5 properties in the Tatton Station Road area. The affected properties have been visited by 108 Mile Volunteer Fire Department members, and there are no further evacuation orders or alerts in place at this time.

A Reception Centre for evacuees has been established at the curling rink on Airport Road in 100 Mile House. The CRD’s EOC Public Information line is 250-398-5117.
