Backyard Burning Ban lifted within Williams Lake Boundaries

With the reduction in fire hazard and the BC Wildfire Service rescinding of campfire bans throughout the Cariboo Fire Centre as of noon today, the Williams Lake Fire Department has lifted the backyard burning ban that has been in place for most of the summer.

Please note that outdoor pits must follow the requirements in the Fire Protection & Control Bylaw.
