Premier Horgan/Minister Robinson welcome #UBCM2018 Delegates

Yesterday - the Hon. John Horgan (Premier of British Columbia) and the Hon. Selina Robinson (Minister of Municipal Affairs/Housing) recorded brief videos welcoming #UBCM2018 Delegates to Whistler and hope to connect with them during the week long convention from September 10-14

They both also reminded UBCM delegates about the theme for this year's UBCM Convention:

Communication - Collaboration - Cooperation

Unfortunately - I personally won't be meeting with the Premier nor Minister Robinson while attending #UBCM2018 at Whistler but I have high hopes that my Cariboo RD Board Chair will be meeting with the Premier and others as part of a tri-RD group delegation (Cariboo RD-Fraser Fort George RD and Thompson-Nicola RD)

However, I am hoping to meet with senior BC Ministry of Transportation Staff in regards to:

1) Garbage Collection at the McLeese Lake Boat Launch
2) Ditching Program by Interior Roads (Highways Maintenance Contractor) in Commodore Heights

while at #UBCM2018 in Whistler

And I am hoping to meet with the BC Liberal Official Opposition Critic for Transportation and brief them on the same 2 topics above
