The Province of British Columbia is hosting a Public Consultation Meeting in respect of Draft Section 11 and Draft Partnership Agreements (Caribou Habitat Recovery/Use of Land in the Backcountry!)

Outline of Meeting (based on Chetwynd meeting):

* Welcome and Opening Comments
* Review of Caribou Recovery Agreements - Draft Section 11/Partnership
* Break
* Public Input Session
* Adjourn

For full details - click here

If you can't make this meeting and want to leave feedback by Friday, May 3rd at 4pm - click here

Finally - you can watch a live streamed meeting held in Chetwynd respecting the above mentioned Caribou Recovery Agreements here

I expect that many locals including local government representatives (including myself) will be in attendance at this meeting

There will be no further meetings on this topic in Williams Lake however there will be one in Quesnel on Thursday, April 11th from 5:30pm - 9:30pm at the Quesnel Seniors' Centre on Carson Avenue (Highway 97) on the same topic

After Quesnel's meeting - there will be no additional public meetings in the Region so it's important to provide your feedback on this very important land use question as it will impact the Region economically for many decades....
