Quesnel Transit Update

Representatives from BC Transit appeared as a delegation to Council and provided an overview of the BC Transit Partnership Model and the Quesnel Transit System, as well as an update on BC Transit’s response to COVID-19. It was noted that transit ridership levels were not as severely impacted in Quesnel by COVID-19 when compared to other communities in BC. The BC Transit representatives outlined the key components of the province-wide plan for Ridership Recovery in response to the pandemic. The plan includes the implementation of a new electronic fare collection system in selected communities.
