As the Cariboo Regional District member municipalities (Quesnel, Williams Lake, 100 Mile House and Wells) are putting out messaging about 2022 Property Taxes being due, I thought I would do the same via a quick note for those of you who live outside Wells, Quesnel, Williams Lake or 100 Mile House...
If you live in the following municipalities and want information about paying your 2022 Property Taxes:
Quesnel - go to https://www.quesnel.ca/municipal-services/taxes-utilities/property-taxes
Williams Lake - go to http://williamslake.ca/702/Property-Taxes
100 Mile House - go to http://100milehouse.com/property-taxes/Wells - go to https://www.wells.ca/District/property-taxes
If you reside outside these municipalities (places like Horse Lake, Horsefly, Wildwood, McLeese Lake, Kersley, Bouchie Lake, Barlow Creek or Cinema) -- you pay your property taxes to the Provincial Government via the Surveyor of Taxes. More information about this can be viewed at https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/taxes/property-taxes/annual-property-tax/pay/how-to
If you are a farm owner in the Electoral Areas of the Cariboo Regional District (properties outside the Districts of Wells/100 Mile House and Cities of Quesnel or Williams Lake) and can’t pay your property taxes before July 4th, 2022 -- there is the Rural Farm Extension Program and details on this program can be viewed at https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/taxes/property-taxes/annual-property-tax/pay/farm-extension
