Committee of the Whole (Cariboo RD Board) Highlights - April 13th mtg

Present: Chair M. Wagner/Vice Chair J. Massier (via MS Teams; Directors Sjostrom (via MS Teams), Bachmeier, Forseth, Neufeld, LeBourdais, Richmond (via MS Teams), Glassford (via MS Teams), Pare, Anderson, De Vries and Alternate Director D. Funk (District of Wells) 

Meeting called to order at 4:05pm

The Chair recognized that the meeting was taking place on the traditional, unceded territory of the Williams Lake First Nation within Secwepemculecw 

Meeting Agenda adopted

Minutes of the Committee meeting held March 23rd, 2023 were received/adopted

The Committee introduced themselves to the Delegation prior to their presentation

Delegation:

The Committee received a presentation from Xat'sull First Nation regarding protection/conservation of First Nation cultural protection sites within the Cariboo Regional District

Following the presentation -- a Question/Answer period ensued 

The Chair thanked the delegation from Xat'sull First Nation for their time/information 

Closed (In-Camera) Committee Meeting:

At 5:15pm -- the Committee recessed its' open meeting to convene a Closed Meeting as per Section 90(1j- information prohibited from public disclosure) of the Community Charter

At 5:55pm -- the Committee rose from its' Closed Session and resumed its' Open Meeting 

The Committee adjourned at 5:56pm
